I've only just read this strip, but unless there's a reason they're in some gray void, you seriously need backgrounds. I could help you with some them if you wanted.

Yes, I have the grey void 'cause it's like they're in the middle of the fight cloud that popped up a couple comics back. If you check all of my previous comics, they all have backgrounds. These fight seens were also to give me a little break from backgrounds. The one in te setting they are in was difficult to work with at the time (though it wouldn't be now).
